2 big jungle gyms, one newer and one older are the main attractions here. I’m noticing a trend after visiting so many playgrounds. Older jungle gyms are generally better. I think is has to do with the time in which they were designed. While the new ones are big, bright and impressive sculptures of steel. The older ones, with their wooden decks and seemingly faster and slightly more dangerous slides are favoured by the boys when ever we come across them.
Needless to say there is a great older jungle gym here and we spent most of our time on it. The new one had no easily accessible ways for the boys to get up so after a few lift-ups it was abandoned.
There are some swings and a couple of uninspired climbers, a bus rider and a single teeter totter as well.
There looks to be a path that goes off into the woods but we didn’t explore.
There is parking available in the school parking lot
There are, strangely enough, no benches
The main part of the playground is right next to the driveway
