What can you say, it’s Victoria Park, arguably the biggest playground on the Island. From the small pirate jungle gym for the very little ones to the bone jarring jog right on the big blue slide, Victoria Park is big, bright and fun.

All of the jungle gyms are accessible to all ages with the pirate ship having a ramp. There are plenty of slides and swings as well as climbers and cute whale riders. We spent a good long time here on all of the equipment, except the swings - the boys have absolutely no interest in them.

When it comes to amenities this park has it all. A pool and splash pad are right next to the playground and a skate park is close by. There are baseball diamonds, tennis courts, two big open fields as well as the boardwalk. And if you want a treat there is the ice cream stand further down the road.

It’s usually a bit cool down here being by the water. So bring something warm to wear, just in case.

There is designated street parking and parking lot deeper in the park

There are four benches

The jungle gym on the left has huge pieces of floor missing. My 2 year old fell on his face
