This is one of my favourite parks so far, one that we will definitely be returning to. It has a nice open area for playing and two jungle gyms each suited for younger and older children. The teeter totters are different than others we’ve seen and the swings are, well, swings.

What makes this park great is the nature trail that can be accessed at the south end. It is the perfect length to take the kids on a little hike. The entrance to the trail is kind of storybook. The trail itself is well-designed as even in early spring with little vegetation on the trees we couldn’t see the other leg of the trail, which was actually quite close to us.

There are 15 benches, mostly along the trail
